FORGOTTEN BOGOTÁ
Gelatine silver print and drawing, 2000

This work consists of a series of portraits of “Troller buses”, buses that many years ago ran in the city moved by electric cables. In this work, through manual retouch in positive, an almost spooky atmosphere is created in which the image of the “Trolli” fades away in different points. The intention of this is to register the oblivion of something so representative once of Bogota, and at present they lie forgotten and deteriorated at a parking lot that resembles a cemetery.

The series “Bogota Forgotten” was shown at the “XI JUNE. MOTH OF PHOTOGRAPHIE IN XALAPA”, at the headquarters of IVEC, Puerto de Veracruz, Mexico; in “PHOTOWEEK” at the Art Museum of the National University, and at “PHOTOSEPTEMBER” at the Alternative Space Gallery.

The series “Trollies” is presented and commercialized by FOTONAUTA GALLERY (Carrer del Vic, 15, Barcelona, Spain)
