Natalia Cajiao's work is characterized by the construction of geometric shapes, creating a matrix or fabric from registered images and elements found in the urban landscape and in nature. It uses different types of materials, paints and techniques of engraving, printing and photography. Each image is unique, however there are patterns and structures that are repeated creating other derivations and relationships between them. These languages support her vision of the universe with vigorous lines and strokes, revealing the strength and internal determination that move her to represent between the figurative and abstract in harmony and tension the cosmetic forces of creation.

For Natalia, the pleasure of creating is linked to observing and perceiving her surroundings through her personal search and the trips she has made to Colombia, India, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, France, Sweden, Norway, England, Italy, China. , Morocco, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, the United States, among others. This travel experience has been vital for his artistic work, providing him with an extensive photographic archive that he continues to explore and nurture. In his travels he also seeks to know history, people and popular culture, a subject that he is also passionate about and interested in for his artistic projects in the field of urban anthropology. Thanks to his walk observing the world and seeing beyond the individual in his journey through places, homes and social groups, he has managed to study urban systems, beliefs, ways of life and compare them with those of his country of origin, Colombia, expanding his vision of the human being and his world.
